We also liaise with your tutors and other academic staff to make sure you get the support students need.

Besides all, the LGBT Society at City is a fun, friendly and inclusive group. Last year they were the third most active society by official membership, and won the Society of the Year award from the City Students’ Union. They arranged a spectrum of events from movie nights and the obligatory trips out to Soho, to raising money and awareness for World AIDS Day and inviting speakers for LGBT History Month. Also, City hosted a club night “Love is a Human Right” with the Amnesty Group, which was one of the busiest nights of the year in our Union bar and for which we were awarded Joint Event of the Year by the Students’ Union.
