Imperial College London launches ‘biggest ever’ scholarship programme for India

Imperial College London, a world-leading university, has announced its ‘biggest ever’ scholarship programme for Indian students. The Future Leaders Scholarship programme will support 30 of India’s most talented Master’s students over the next three years. The programme is designed to nurture the full capacity of the next generation of science leaders from India.

The Future Leaders Scholarship programme is open to all Indian students who have applied to study for a Master’s degree at Imperial College London. The scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition and living expenses for the students studying Master’s programmes in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business and Medical Research.

The programme is designed to support students who are passionate about science and technology, and who have the potential to make a significant contribution to the field. Scholars will have the opportunity to work with world-leading researchers at Imperial, and to access the university’s state-of-the-art facilities.

Dr Jitendra Singh, India’s Minister of Science and Technology, welcomed the launch of the Future Leaders Scholarship programme.
